Company Onboarding
Company onboarding is the process of creating your organization’s SecureHive workspace. During onboarding you provide basic company information, choose a subdomain, verify your email, and configure initial settings.
Creating your workspace
Start the signup
Click Get Started on the SecureHive homepage. Enter your work email address and verify it through the confirmation link sent to your inbox.
Provide company details
Fill in your organization’s name, industry vertical, company size, and primary contact information. This information is used to tailor the platform to your needs.
Choose a subdomain
Select an available subdomain for your workspace URL. Your workspace will be accessible at https://[subdomain].securehive.ai.
Subdomain rules:
- Must be 3–63 characters long
- Can contain lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens
- Must start and end with a letter or number
- Cannot start or end with a hyphen
Complete setup
Review your details and click Create Workspace. SecureHive provisions your environment and redirects you to the setup wizard.
Reserved subdomains
Certain subdomains are reserved for platform use and cannot be selected during onboarding. These include system names such as api, app, admin, auth, docs, help, mail, status, support, and www.
If the subdomain you want is unavailable, choose an alternative or contact your account representative for assistance.
Signup validation
SecureHive validates the following during onboarding:
Email — Must be a valid work email address. Free email providers (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook) are not accepted for workspace creation.
Company name — Must be provided and at least 2 characters long.
Subdomain — Must be unique, follow the naming rules above, and not be a reserved name.
After onboarding
Once your workspace is created, follow the Quick Start guide to configure SSO, import your risk register, and set up your first compliance framework. For identity provider integration, see SSO & SCIM.
If your organization was provisioned by an account representative, your workspace is already created. You will receive an invitation email with login credentials and can skip directly to the Quick Start guide.
