Operating Model

Control & Direction

The Operating Model defines your security organization’s structure, teams, and reporting relationships. It maps people to responsibilities, ensuring clear ownership and accountability across every part of your security program. Teams created here become the foundation for assigning goals, projects, audits, and vendor relationships throughout SecureHive.

The Operating Model integrates with Goals & Initiatives (team goals), Execution Tracking (project ownership), Audit Management (audit assignments), and Vendor Risk (vendor ownership). Team members are drawn from users managed in Settings.

What’s included

Team Management — Create and manage security teams with hierarchical structures, assigned managers, color coding, and member rosters. Define parent-child relationships to model your full organizational structure.

Team Chart — Visualize your security organization as a hierarchical tree. The team chart displays each team’s manager, member count, and summary badges for goals, projects, and risks at a glance.

Members Chart — Explore an interactive diagram of individual team members and their reporting relationships. The members chart uses a node-edge layout to show how people connect across your security organization.
