Settings
Control & DirectionThe Security Direction settings page provides tenant-level configuration for strategy approval workflows. From here you define the default workflow templates that govern how strategies are reviewed and approved across your organization.
Settings apply as defaults to all strategies. Individual strategies can override these defaults from the Workflow Configuration tab on their detail page.
Workflow Configuration Manager
Navigate to Security Direction → Settings to open the Workflow Configuration Manager. This interface lets you create and manage workflow templates of type STRATEGY.
Managing workflow templates
The Workflow Configuration Manager displays all STRATEGY workflow templates defined for your tenant. Each template defines the stages, reviewers, and approval requirements that strategies will follow when submitted for approval.
Create a workflow template
Click New Workflow and provide a name and description. Define the stages of the approval process — for example, a peer review stage followed by a Steering Committee approval stage.
Configure stages and roles
For each stage, specify the role requirements (e.g., reviewer, approver) and any conditions that must be met before the workflow advances. Map roles to specific users or groups as needed.
Set as default
Designate one workflow template as the tenant default. All newly created strategies will inherit this workflow unless a per-strategy override is configured.
Changing the tenant-default workflow template does not retroactively update strategies that are already in progress. Only new submissions will use the updated template.
Permissions
Access to the Settings page requires the strategy:manage permission. Only users with this permission can create, edit, or delete workflow templates and change the tenant-default configuration.
